About the Role

This per diem School Nurse position is located in Providence, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, preferably within a school setting. A strong background in psychiatric, behavioral, and developmental conditions is desired.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide nursing care needs of Bradley School students during the school day. The successful candidate will focus on student and school health issues affecting safety and ability to learn, promoting health through assessment, education, and environment control.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and community providers for health promotion and prevention.
  • Nurse management of chronic or ongoing health problems, including administration of medications.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans and emergency care plans for students with specific health needs.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island or compliance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
  • Experience in nursing, preferably in a school setting or with children and adolescents.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under stress.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include participation in admission of students, weekly medical rounds, and opportunities for professional growth.
