Job Overview

The Bilingual Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting both wholesale and retail clients by identifying their requirements, addressing inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and suggesting suitable solutions. This position also involves promptly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal satisfaction while keeping abreast of product features and maintaining the high quality and visual standards of the merchandise and store. The individual in this role is expected to deliver exceptional customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service
  • Assist clients both in-person and via phone by identifying needs and recommending relevant products and services
  • Establish and nurture productive trust-based relationships with both wholesale and retail customers
  • Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Maintain organized work order files and formulas
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
  • Tint and mix products as per customer specifications
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Support delivery operations as required
  • Maintain assigned areas in an in-stock and visually appealing condition
  • Stay informed about product offerings and discuss available options with customers
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
  • Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in English
  • Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish
  • Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
  • Prior experience in selling paint and related products
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
