Our Opportunity

We are currently in search of a Customer Service Representative to become an integral part of our professional team.

Key Responsibilities

In this essential role within Richelieu, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying order information promptly. This position is crucial in maintaining high standards of service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Handle incoming calls from customers placing orders and provide sales quotations.
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales representatives regarding customer orders and quotes.
  • Assist customers in the showroom by addressing inquiries and facilitating order placements.
  • Proactively seek new or additional sales opportunities with customers through phone interactions and in-person engagements in the showroom.
  • Research product solutions to address customer project challenges.
  • Restock showroom displays and conduct inventory counts as necessary.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Experience in the building materials industry is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
  • A high level of motivation and creativity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with AS400 is a plus.
  • A high school diploma; some college coursework is preferred.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
