The Senior Vice President will partner with analysts from our Wealth Strategies Research team and senior investment professionals to create tailored solutions for our clientele. This role is pivotal in enhancing and supporting our cross-border private wealth management services.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a seasoned trusts and estates attorney or a tax attorney with a robust background in trusts and estates, possessing 7-10 years of experience in a law firm setting for the Senior Vice President position.
- A solid foundation in international trusts, estates, and tax is essential, including knowledge of foreign trust taxation, business entity taxation, and both onshore and offshore investment frameworks, along with tax and estate planning methodologies.
- The candidate should have experience in both inbound and outbound estate planning.
- Familiarity with international philanthropy is an added advantage.
- Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts in simplified terms are crucial.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a beneficial asset.

In accordance with applicable law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows: Base Salary Range: $225,000 to $265,000. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards. In addition AB provides a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, sick and vacation time off.
