The Credit Risk Management Supervisor will oversee the comprehensive lending workflow, from initial application through to underwriting and decision-making. This role involves evaluating credit data and financial statements to assess the risk associated with lending, preparing detailed reports to support informed decision-making.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring repayment trends and managing collections for overdue accounts.
  • Coordinating training and development initiatives for the credit department.
  • Managing personnel-related functions for the credit analyst team, including recruitment and performance evaluations.

This position reports directly to the Chief Credit Officer and does not involve direct interaction with applicants regarding loan terms or applications.


Essential Job Functions:
  • Ensure all necessary loan request information is available to initiate the underwriting process.
  • Address any deficiencies in loan packages and prioritize workloads to meet lender requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, ensuring adherence to internal policies.
  • Develop and implement training programs for credit analysts, utilizing various instructional methods.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of credit data to determine lending risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan memorandums for review by loan committees.
  • Evaluate customer financial records and recommend suitable payment plans.
  • Review underwriting memorandums for accuracy and completeness before submission.
  • Coordinate workflow and administrative functions within the Credit Department.
  • Oversee recruitment, performance assessments, and disciplinary actions as necessary.

Adherence to federal, state, and company policies is mandatory, as is compliance with security protocols outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program.
