Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into a new era of growth and impact. Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraising & Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to increase revenue and support the organization's mission.
  • Organizational Leadership: Provide strategic direction, inspire and motivate staff, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Strategic Vision & Execution: Develop and implement a clear and concise strategic plan to drive growth, improve operations, and enhance the organization's impact.
  • Board Engagement & Effectiveness: Work closely with the board of directors to ensure effective governance, strategic guidance, and support for the organization's mission.
  • Brand Advancement: Enhance the organization's brand awareness, reputation, and relationships with stakeholders, donors, and community partners.
  • Financial & Operational Oversight: Ensure the organization's financial health, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Passion for the Mission: A deep commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission and a proven track record of driving impact in the non-profit sector.
  • Executive Experience: A minimum of 5 years of executive-level experience in a non-profit or public institution, with a strong record of leadership, fundraising, and strategic vision.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
  • Fundraising Expertise: Proven ability to develop and execute successful fundraising strategies, with a strong network of donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement clear and concise plans to drive growth, improve operations, and enhance the organization's impact.
