We are a leading engineering consultancy services provider, seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Representative to join our team in Detroit. As a key player in driving business growth, you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base and increasing revenue. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to target high-potential clients and partners.
- Building strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Cold-calling, email outreach, and warm lead follow-ups to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborating with consulting engineers to recognize customer potential and highlight the benefits of our services.
- Managing the sales pipeline and process from prospecting to closing deals.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, sales, marketing, management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in client business generation through cold calling sales.
- Preferred experience with sales tools such as Zoom Info.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively conduct prospection meetings.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify industry needs and connect with relevant players.
