Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and disciplined Account Executive with a strong enthusiasm for sales and a commitment to achieving results. This role focuses on building and managing relationships with both current and potential clients, discovering and nurturing new business opportunities, and delivering outstanding customer service and solutions tailored to client needs.

Our company is dedicated to serving clients in the JanSan, Foodservice, and Industrial Packaging sectors, providing the right products and solutions to enhance their operational success every day.

Note: This role requires regular travel within the designated market area.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and market the complete range of products that our company offers through various supply channels to potential clients within your assigned territory. Organize productive workdays where the typical schedule begins with visiting clients or prospects around 8:30 AM and concludes around 5:00 PM or upon completion of the last client meeting and necessary paperwork. Achieve or surpass sales and account development targets set by the sales management team. Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing clients by introducing additional products, particularly in the areas of chemicals and plastic waste disposal solutions. Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and market strategies, including insights into relevant manufacturers and distributor activities. Develop a thorough understanding of our company's full product portfolio. Submit all required documentation and reports in a timely, clear, and complete manner. Keep accurate and up-to-date customer records within the CRM system. Exercise sound business judgment regarding pricing strategies and product placements. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key contacts at all client organizations. Become proficient with essential technology tools utilized by our sales team, including CRM, sales analytics platforms, and virtual meeting software. Stay informed about industry trends and current events through various media sources. Respond to all client and office communications within the same business day. Meet or exceed the previous year's sales targets as established at the beginning of each calendar year. Participate in training sessions with new team members as needed. Foster a collaborative and effective working relationship with internal staff. Address any open credit issues promptly to assist the accounts receivable team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred. A proven track record of at least 3 years of successful sales experience in the janitorial supply, foodservice supply, or packaging distribution sectors. A solid understanding of sales strategies, distribution channels, and market dynamics relevant to our industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. A strategic mindset with the capability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions. Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite. A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
