Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and organized Account Executive with a strong commitment to sales excellence. This role focuses on building and nurturing relationships with both current and potential clients, discovering and pursuing new business opportunities, and delivering outstanding customer service and tailored solutions to fulfill client requirements.

Our company is dedicated to serving clients in the JanSan, Foodservice, and Industrial Packaging sectors, providing the right products and solutions to enhance their operational success every day.

Note: This role necessitates regular travel within the designated market area.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell the comprehensive range of products that our company offers to prospective clients within your assigned territory. Organize effective workdays where the typical schedule begins with client visits around 8:30 AM and concludes around 5:00 PM or when all client interactions and necessary documentation are finalized. Achieve or surpass sales targets and objectives as set by the sales management team. Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing clients by introducing additional products, particularly focusing on chemicals and plastic waste management solutions. Acquire and maintain an in-depth understanding of competitive products and market strategies, including knowledge of relevant manufacturers and distributor activities. Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of our company's full product line. Complete and submit all required reports and documentation in a timely, clear, and comprehensive manner. Keep customer records updated within the CRM system. Exercise sound business judgment regarding pricing strategies and product placements. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key contacts at all client organizations. Become proficient with the necessary technology tools utilized by our sales team, including CRM systems and virtual meeting platforms. Stay informed about industry trends and developments through various media channels. Respond to all client inquiries within the same business day they are received. Meet or exceed previous year’s sales performance as established at the start of each year. Participate in training sessions with new Account Managers when requested. Foster a collaborative and effective working relationship with internal teams. Address any outstanding credit issues promptly to assist the Accounts Receivable team.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred. A proven history of at least 3 years of successful sales experience in the janitorial supply, foodservice supply, or packaging distribution sectors. Strong understanding of sales strategies, distribution channels, and market dynamics relevant to our industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Strategic mindset with the capability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. A demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
