- Critically evaluating department-wide workflows and processes; proposing innovative ideas to enhance operations within teams, Production, and Publishing Operations.
- Acting as a leader within the Production team: regularly meeting with other Lead Production Editors and Editorial Operations Supervisors to address issues pertinent to your team within the broader organizational framework, actively sharing best practices with fellow team leaders, and leveraging historical knowledge and expertise in discussions.
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, thoroughness, and accuracy.
- Expertise in and familiarity with Cell Press systems, workflows, and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities within the Publishing Operations department and broader Cell Press.
- Highly organized with a commitment to order and follow-up.
- Proficient in Office applications and advanced knowledge of standard production systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capable of setting priorities effectively.
- Skilled in problem identification and analytical thinking.
