Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team as a Yerby Fellow. The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health research and a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in public health-related fields, including laboratory sciences, population sciences, and social and policy sciences
- Develop and implement research projects, including designing studies, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results
- Collaborate with senior faculty members and other researchers to advance the intellectual and professional development of the fellow
- Participate in teaching and mentoring activities, including leading seminars and workshops
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
- Doctorate in a public health-related discipline, preferably at the time of application
- At least two years of postdoctoral training completed, or equivalent experience
- Strong research skills and experience with independent research, advanced scientific publication, and grant writing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Commitment to advancing the field of public health and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
