Our mission, particularly through Count Me In (CMI), is to leverage the powerful insights of patients alongside their clinical data and biological samples to advance scientific research.
At CMI, we develop technological and scientific capabilities aimed at patient-centered research, addressing critical rare diseases and cancers through the experiences of countless patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Principal Software Product Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with CMI leadership to define the overarching vision for Juniper.
- Articulate and disseminate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and plans to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and refine user personas and journeys to enhance product engagement.
- Apply best practices in software product development to create a premier research platform for patients and researchers.
- Engage with scientists, clinicians, research participants, and other stakeholders to gather insights on their needs.
- Work with the information security team to navigate the complex regulatory landscape surrounding health information.
- Advocate for CMI's software products within the rare disease community.
- Inspire development teams and stakeholders with clear and impactful product vision statements.
- Contribute to the leadership team by exemplifying organizational values and driving operational excellence.
- Foster a strong product team culture through strategic planning and mentoring.
- Collaborate with business development and customer delivery teams on market strategies.
- Work closely with engineering leadership to ensure effective collaboration and measurable outcomes.
- Identify key metrics for software products and collaborate with teams to refine offerings based on data.
- Manage partnerships with institutions to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Relevant experience in commercial product development.
- Proven success in direct-to-patient software product management with Agile teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in user experience and web design principles.
- Background in academic or research environments is preferred.

- Proven success in team management, including hiring and performance management.
