Position Overview: The selected candidate will operate under the guidance of the Regional Operations Manager. The Project Manager holds full accountability for all designated tasks, consulting with supervisors only on issues that extend beyond their authority, necessitating higher-level intervention, policy development, or matters likely to attract significant attention or controversy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the effective coordination and execution of contractual obligations, ensuring Quality Control (QC), safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of Facility Management principles, methods, and practices related to contract oversight.
  • The role necessitates a technical background and experience in various areas, including:
    • Understanding contracting procedures and authorization protocols.
    • A robust management background with skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Required to:
    • Develop a comprehensive management plan that integrates customer requirements and coordinates with all functional elements within the company.
    • Manage and control project budgets, inventory, and schedules to ensure commitments to quality services are fulfilled.
    • Act as the primary liaison for customers and external agencies concerning the assigned project.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Ensure overall management, control, coordination, and execution of contract compliance, implementing corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate schedule development, provide technical direction, and coordinate both internal and subcontracted resources.
  • Supervise all site personnel, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Communicate complex facility maintenance projects, intricate schedules, work plans, Scope of Work (SOW), and detailed cost estimates, serving as the point of contact for work control.
  • Monitor daily schedule and cost objectives, ensuring satisfactory completion of the SOW.
  • Ensure site security aligns with contract specifications and directives from the Contracting Officer.
  • Enforce safety protocols in accordance with the primary contract and the approved Site Safety and Health Plan.
  • Manage project milestones and budgets from planning through execution, reviewing progress and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Address performance trends and ensure proper resolution of raised issues.
  • Reconcile customer concerns, keeping all stakeholders informed of project status, issues, and impacts.
  • Evaluate project proposals to determine timelines, funding limitations, procedures, staffing needs, and resource allocation.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for each project phase, assigning project personnel accordingly.
  • Collaborate with project staff to outline work plans and assign responsibilities.
  • Review status reports from project personnel and adjust schedules or plans as needed.
  • Coordinate project activities with governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare project reports for management and clients, ensuring all contract deliverables are met punctually.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in facilities management operations.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • 3 years of experience in government medical research or hospital operations management.
