  • Oversee the efficient and effective management of contractual obligations, ensuring adherence to Quality Control (QC), safety protocols, and operational maintenance.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of Facility Management principles, methods, and processes related to contract oversight.
  • The role demands a technical background and experience across various functions, including:
    • Understanding contracting procedures and authorization processes.
    • A strong management background with skills in conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Integrate customer requirements into a cohesive management plan that aligns with all functional elements of the company's responsibilities, setting clear expectations.
  • Control and manage project budgets, inventory, and schedules to ensure the company's commitments to quality service and customer satisfaction are met.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customers and external agencies regarding the assigned project.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Manage overall project compliance, implementing corporate policies, regulations, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate schedule development, provide technical direction, and coordinate both internal and subcontracted resources.
  • Supervise all personnel on-site, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and integrating quality control into daily operations.
  • Communicate complex facility maintenance and repair projects, including detailed work plans and cost estimates, serving as the point of contact for work control.
  • Ensure daily adherence to schedule and budget goals, completing the Scope of Work (SOW) satisfactorily.
  • Maintain site security in accordance with contractual obligations and directives from the Contracting Officer.
  • Enforce safety protocols in alignment with the primary contract and the approved Site Safety and Health Plan.
  • Manage project milestones and budgets from planning through execution, reviewing progress and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Address performance trends to ensure proper resolution of any issues raised.
  • Reconcile customer concerns, keeping all parties informed of project status and impacts.
  • Evaluate project proposals to determine timelines, funding limitations, and resource allocation.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for each project phase, assigning responsibilities accordingly.
  • Collaborate with project staff to outline work plans and delegate duties effectively.
  • Review status reports from project personnel, adjusting schedules or plans as needed.
  • Coordinate project activities with government regulatory agencies as required.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports for management and clients.
  • Ensure timely completion of all contract deliverables, including reporting requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management operations.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in government medical research or hospital operations management.
