We are seeking knowledgeable Spray Technicians who can accurately identify weeds, insects, and diseases. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential for effective communication with managers, supervisors, team members, property managers, and residents.

As a Drug-Free workplace, all candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation. A clean driving record in Florida for the past three years is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers while maintaining required documentation
  • Comprehend and interpret product labels
  • Safely operate spray vehicles and complete necessary daily reports
  • Report to the Supervisor, Crew Foreman, or Division Manager as needed
  • Assist the Crew Foreman/Supervisor with daily operations and other assigned tasks
  • Ensure compliance with stringent safety protocols and company policies
  • Maintain the overall condition of equipment utilized
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Manager/Supervisor, which may include pesticide and/or fertilizer applications

Qualifications
  • **Valid Florida driver's license (Ages 21+) with a minimum of three years of driving experience and a satisfactory driving record
  • Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required
  • Knowledge of weed, insect, and disease identification is essential
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Capability to work in challenging environments, including heat and humidity
  • Safely apply pesticides and fertilizers after completing the mandatory 40-hour training
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs.
  • Obtain Green Industries BMP certification within 30 days of employment

Salary will be discussed during the interview process. We provide paid holidays and vacation, along with competitive health benefits after 60 days of employment. A 401k plan is also available.
