About the Faculty of Arts and Sciences

The Faculty of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic unit on campus, comprising three schools: the College of Arts and Sciences, University College, and the Graduate School. We offer a wide range of degree programs in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and fine arts, and we are committed to providing students with a rigorous and engaging educational experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our faculty as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in research and service activities that align with the mission of the university.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of courses in psychology, including introductory courses, upper-level electives, and special topics courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the mission of the university and the department
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences
  • Engage in research and service activities that advance the mission of the university
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and service

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a master's or doctoral degree in psychology or a related field, and a minimum of two years of teaching experience at the college or university level. You should also have a strong commitment to teaching and learning, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
