Key Responsibilities of Clinical Supervisors:

  • Oversee and guide Counselors and clinical support staff in delivering assessments, education on substance use disorders, treatment, and case management services to clients.
  • Manage client programs by evaluating counselor performance, auditing client records to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual standards, and achieving service delivery goals.
  • Act as a professional resource for counselors in addressing complex case issues while providing clinical supervision and mentorship.
  • Interpret and uphold organizational and facility policies and procedures, contributing to the development of treatment protocols and processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, mental health, substance abuse counseling, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of six months of clinical supervision or counseling experience.
  • At least 3.5 years of experience as a Certified Counselor (CACII), LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  • Must obtain certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) within eighteen months of commencing clinical supervisory duties.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and navigate the facilities for up to two hours at a time to monitor and engage with clients.
  • Occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and/or frequent or constant negligible force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Capability to record, proofread, and verify documents and files for accuracy, as well as prepare and analyze data and figures.
  • Proficiency in using a keyboard and video display terminal for information retrieval and auditing.
  • Aptitude to respond to telephones and detect alarms and unusual sounds.

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range is between $60,000 and $61,543, commensurate with experience and credentials.
  • ***$5,000 Sign-On Bonus***
  • Gateway Foundation conducts annual performance reviews, including merit-based salary increases.
