Mental Health Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Director to join our team at CFG Health Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of mental health services to inmates within the Department of Corrections, ensuring that care meets community standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and evaluate mental health staff, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to mental health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to communicate information regarding mental health services and ensure seamless coordination.
- Coordinate mental health care with the medical department, ensuring comprehensive and integrated care.
- Oversee the referral process for psychopharmacological interventions and ensure timely transfers of inmates to higher levels of care when necessary.
- Attend clinical and administrative meetings, providing expert guidance and support.
- Provide direct mental health services as needed, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Oversee mental health discharge planning for inmates, ensuring a smooth transition to community care.
- Must possess a degree in Psychology (Ph.D./Psy.D) from an accredited graduate program in Psychology or a degree in Medicine (MD/DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Must be licensed as a Psychologist or Psychiatrist by the state in which they will provide services.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
