At Applecart, we're revolutionizing the way businesses connect with decision-makers. As a Business Development Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our team as we work with prominent companies, trade associations, and advocacy organizations.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for researching potential Applecart opportunities across corporate reputation, public affairs, and B2B marketing use-cases. You'll work closely with our talented team of strategists, communications experts, and analysts to impact marketing campaigns and policy outcomes for our high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor news developments relevant to Applecart's clients and flag key findings for the Business Development team.
  • Set up and maintain news alerts in our critical monitoring platform.
  • Maintain a priority list of prospective and existing clients for whom we should monitor news.
  • Assist staff with ad hoc research tasks, including preparing research briefings on company business models and news developments.
  • Data entry and information management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in media monitoring or a related field.
  • Strong interest in tracking current events and monitoring pressing issues across various industries.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Energetic and upbeat disposition, with a sense of humor.
  • Comfort and confidence in problem-solving, both as a team and autonomously.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $65,000, based on experience and skills.
  • A hybrid work arrangement, with flexibility to work from anywhere on Monday and Friday, and in our New York City office Tuesday through Thursday.
