We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Coordinator to support the operational functions of our Family Support Programs and Community Wellness initiatives. This role will report to the Senior Director and will encompass four key areas of responsibility: safety and security, facilities management, transportation services, and admissions coordination.

Key Responsibilities:Safety and Security
  • Maintain ongoing communication with relevant leadership to ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
  • Coordinate safety training sessions and keep comprehensive records of all safety-related documentation.
  • Provide timely information to staff during emergencies or crises, collaborating with leadership to implement effective response strategies.
  • Assist in organizing fire drills and safety training in accordance with organizational standards.
Facilities Management
  • Work closely with IT and operations teams to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.
  • Serve as the primary contact for facility-related inquiries and assist in maintaining optimal conditions for work and recreation.
  • Ensure that all common areas are well-maintained and address any hazards promptly.
  • Respond to urgent facility needs and collaborate with leadership to resolve issues efficiently.
Transportation Services
  • Support the Transportation Coordinator in managing daily transportation operations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain accurate transportation records.
  • Manage inventory of transportation-related assets and coordinate with accounting for any discrepancies.
Admissions Coordination
  • Act as the administrative liaison for prospective residents, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed.
  • Facilitate assessments and interviews to evaluate suitability for residential programs.
  • Coordinate transitions for new residents, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Additional Duties
  • Ensure all required certifications and training are up-to-date.
  • Provide support to the Activities Director as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as meeting documentation and correspondence.
  • Provide coverage for front desk operations when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse workforce.
