Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive, you will provide client advisory and consultative services for all health and welfare plans and services. Your responsibilities will include providing monthly reporting, strategic analysis, compliance and legislative guidance, contract and performance standards review, HR procedures assistance, and vendor liaison for clients for all service, billing, and eligibility issues with carriers. You will also be responsible for meeting summaries and follow-up with team members and external vendors, maintaining outstanding checklists and renewal timelines for assigned clients, and contract review and compliance support. Additionally, you will manage marketing processes, ensure spreadsheet terms are accurately implemented and documented, and provide proactive customer service and HR support. You will also communicate, educate, and provide wellness support coordinated with team members, maintain files and databases, and assist and organize the onboarding process for all new business cases and new business lines on designated accounts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as advanced MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You will also need strong client development and relationship-building skills, the ability to work both independently and within a team environment, and a Bachelor's degree. Five years of client management experience in Employee Benefits is preferred, as well as experience in self-funded, core benefits, voluntary benefits, ancillary benefits, and enrollment/eligibility systems options for clients. A Resident state Life and Health Department of Insurance License (Florida 215) is also required. This is a hybrid position, with the expectation of two days onsite and three days remote each week, and you will need to travel to employer locations and meet with client committees on a regular basis. You will also need to be able to sit at a computer for a long period of time, as well as in an automobile and airplane for travel to client locations, and perform duties that require standing, walking, talking, sitting, and hearing.
