Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Permanent Assistant Superintendent specializing in Healthcare Construction to join our team. In this role, you will oversee a variety of healthcare construction initiatives, including ground-up projects, hospital builds, renovations, and expansions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the strategic planning and coordination of all healthcare construction activities to achieve project goals within set timelines and budgets.
2. Supervise daily operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
3. Oversee all construction activities, including new builds, hospital projects, renovations, and expansions.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations throughout the construction process.
5. Support the preparation and management of project schedules and financial plans.
6. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to uphold the highest standards in healthcare construction.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety protocols.
8. Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process.
9. Maintain effective communication with project teams and ensure proper documentation of all construction activities.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction sector, particularly in healthcare projects.
2. Proven track record in ground-up construction, hospital projects, renovations, and expansions.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and project management capabilities.
5. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with project teams and stakeholders.
7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Willingness to travel as required by project demands.
