Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Superintendent for Healthcare OSHPD projects to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves overseeing healthcare construction initiatives from inception to completion, including remodels, renovations, expansions, and seismic upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare construction, particularly with OSHPD regulations, and a proven history of successful project delivery in hospital environments, including Behavioral Health Facilities and Healthcare Towers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress effectively.
  • Implement changes to project scope, schedule, and costs as necessary.
  • Utilize appropriate tools to measure project performance and report to management.
  • Conduct risk management to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the project.
  • Supervise construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are met.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction field, with a focus on healthcare.
  • Demonstrated project management experience within the construction industry.
  • Proficient in design and visualization software.
  • Thorough understanding of construction management processes and methodologies.
  • Expertise in building materials, construction details, and applicable regulations.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and crises effectively.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Familiarity with OSHPD regulations and standards is essential.
  • Experience with Behavioral Health Facilities and Healthcare Towers is advantageous.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
