Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Permanent Superintendent for Healthcare OSHPD projects to join our dynamic construction team. This position involves overseeing healthcare construction initiatives from inception to completion, including remodels, renovations, expansions, and seismic upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare construction, particularly with OSHPD regulations, and a proven history of successful project completions in hospital environments, including Behavioral Health Facilities and Healthcare Towers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress and manage changes effectively.
- Utilize risk management strategies to mitigate project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the project.
- Oversee daily work progress and uphold quality construction standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction sector, with a focus on healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes and relevant regulations.
- Proficient in construction management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with OSHPD standards and experience in Behavioral Health and Healthcare Tower projects is advantageous.
- A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
