Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and skilled Permanent Assistant Superintendent for Healthcare Construction to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee a variety of healthcare construction initiatives, including ground-up projects, hospital renovations, and facility expansions. Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the strategic planning and coordination of healthcare construction projects to achieve objectives within set timelines and budgets.
2. Supervise daily operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
3. Oversee all construction activities, including new builds, hospital renovations, and expansions.
4. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations throughout all construction processes.
5. Aid in the development and management of project schedules and financial plans.
6. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction specialists to ensure project excellence.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications and safety protocols.
8. Assist in resolving any issues that arise during the construction process.
9. Maintain effective communication with project teams and ensure thorough documentation of all activities.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry, particularly in healthcare.
2. Proven experience in ground-up construction, hospital projects, renovations, and expansions.
3. Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and project management capabilities.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
7. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Willingness to travel as required by project demands.
