Position Overview:
This role involves supervising and managing the daily functions, staffing, and overall performance of the team to meet established objectives, ensuring the safety and quality of services provided to all patient demographics. You will set work priorities and assist team members in addressing operational challenges. This position requires the implementation and enforcement of compliance with departmental, affiliate, and regulatory standards, as well as identifying cost-saving measures and best practices through process improvement methodologies. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance service coordination and streamline workflows is essential.

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of relevant experience in a similar field.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Comprehensive understanding of medical office operations and procedures.
  • Ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Solid grasp of operational workflows and their interdependencies across departments.
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations affecting departmental operations.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including team development and motivational skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve technical and operational challenges in accordance with established policies.
  • Skills in project planning, leadership, and execution.
  • Capacity to build effective partnerships with staff and leadership to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to navigate challenging situations and make informed decisions independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
