Job Overview

We are seeking a Tax Operations Administration Lead to become a vital part of our team at Axzora Resourcing. This role is designed to provide comprehensive support to the Tax Division in a dynamic and rewarding setting. The successful candidate will take charge of coordinating business activities with tax administrators and collaborate closely with tax executives and the tax team on various initiatives and daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing tax stakeholders by delivering timely insights into the tax division and supporting additional administrative tasks.
  • Facilitate daily operations within the department.
  • Oversee tax administrative activities to ensure smooth and consistent functioning of the tax division.
  • Review correspondence, reports, and various documents; prioritize materials and prepare necessary summaries.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials and departmental communications.
  • Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and project trackers to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Support third-party vendor follow-up and project management initiatives.
  • Conduct quality control for the tax division, including reviewing and implementing process and system changes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance workflows and efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior management and colleagues across all levels to promote a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Manage workflows efficiently with minimal oversight from managers, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Identify and implement improvements within the department, fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
  • Implement process and procedural changes to achieve positive outcomes while minimizing disruptions.
  • Engage proactively with senior tax executives, providing valuable insights and aligning departmental objectives with overall organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in business, accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in an administrative managerial role within tax operations is required.
  • A foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices is necessary.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods to meet business demands.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively guide and motivate team members toward achieving organizational objectives.
