Job Summary

The Project Executive is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects from pre-construction to closeout. This individual will lead, manage, and coordinate all aspects of a market sector or business unit, ensuring overall customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Mentoring and Leadership
  • Provide guidance and support to subordinates, promoting a positive work environment and fostering company-wide synergy.
  • Actively invest in mentoring and training, ensuring the development of high-quality team members.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating ethics, commitment, attitude, and honesty in all interactions.
  • Foster collaboration with the executive team and subordinates, promoting open communication and teamwork.
Strategic and Business Planning
  • Stay up-to-date with market, economic, and business literature, sharing insights with the executive team to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in yearly business planning activities and periodic strategic planning, taking responsibility for specific action plans supporting overall business goals.
Marketing
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Couts Heating & Cooling's differentiation and value proposition.
  • Teach project teams to market and reinforce the importance of marketing efforts.
  • Assist the Pre-Con team with sales efforts for specific projects, broadening the network and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Construction
  • Develop a strategy for delivering exceptional pre-construction services.
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, fostering close team relationships among all parties.
  • Set up projects for maximum profit and risk management, supervising PM's in identifying and managing project risks.
  • Monitor client satisfaction during the construction phase, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
Collaboration
  • Collaborate with the Service Department and Small Projects Group to identify future opportunities with existing and new construction clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of leadership and project delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.
