Position Overview

The Lead Project Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Project Management and will be responsible for overseeing a variety of wet pipeline initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as the representative of the organization in client interactions, manage project financials and timelines, and ensure the excellence of project outputs. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout project execution and communication.
  • Evaluate project outputs, including schematics, calculations, and permit submissions.
  • Facilitate project meetings, technical assessments, and progress briefings for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Formulate scopes of work with recommendations for equipment, material needs, and labor resources.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and other deliverables effectively.
  • Accurately forecast sewer, storm drain, and structural takeoffs.
  • Advocate for necessary project resources and oversee project timelines.
  • Comprehend and finalize estimated costs and future projections.
  • Possess knowledge of various water materials and fittings.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Communicate proficiently with other trades involved.
  • Interpret project specifications, soil reports, and district requirements.
  • Utilize Planswift for comprehensive takeoffs and manage wet utility projects.
  • Understand prevailing wage projects and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Exhibit time management skills and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate effectively with diverse personnel.
  • Have a general understanding of construction processes and potential challenges.
  • Guide, train, mentor, and develop members of the Project Management team.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Project Management Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 15 years of project management experience in the wet pipeline sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree in project management, engineering, technical, or construction fields.
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up capabilities.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Civil Plans and intricate project outputs.
  • Exhibit good attendance, multitasking abilities, and prioritization skills.
  • Possess a valid CA Driver's License with a clean driving record.
