Position Overview

This position entails the responsibility of initiating cold calls, selling, and executing new business that aligns with the criteria of a national account within the designated territory or sector. Collaborating with internal teams, the role involves crafting tailored termite control solutions, which encompass pricing proposals, scopes of work, customer service expectations, billing requirements, and the successful execution of these programs. Meeting or surpassing the annual baseline targets established by the organization is a key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain elevated levels of cold call prospecting activity utilizing various outreach tools.
  • Document weekly new business outreach efforts, contracted sales, initiated sales, and contract versus job sales in the CRM or other tools provided by the organization.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to leverage strategic selling techniques for presenting and selling termite services.
  • Demonstrate self-accountability to ensure consistent delivery of high prospecting activity and sales performance while nurturing key relationships both internally and externally.
  • Travel to various meetings with potential clients, customers, trade shows, and internal training sessions that yield a return on investment.
  • Collaborate with the Director of National Accounts Sales to achieve the annual baseline targets.
  • Work alongside colleagues to share leads and cross-sell opportunities in residential and commercial pest control.
  • May be tasked with managing a portion of existing customer accounts, necessitating business reviews, pricing adjustments, and contract renewals.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Essential Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in regional or national commercial sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in new business commercial sales.
  • Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
  • Experience in selling across multiple business sectors.
  • Self-driven and accountable.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Business and financial insight.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to operate and influence across various levels.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Leadership Qualities and Characteristics Required

  • Self-motivated, competitive, resilient, high integrity, and indirect leadership capabilities.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - BA, BS required.
