About the Team
The Global Partners Organization (GPO) is dedicated to cultivating partnerships that drive innovation and growth, enhancing industry differentiation, expanding reach, and ensuring customer success. About the Role
The Senior Partner Executive will be tasked with developing the Workday pipeline across all Global System Integrators (GSI) and/or Advisory Partners within State and Local Governments throughout the United States. In addition to collaborating with our Partners and Resellers, the Senior Partner Executive will engage with various internal functions, including but not limited to services, marketing, pre-sales, value management, legal, and industry.
About You
This position demands expertise in software alliances, executive presence, and exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience working with State and Local Governments.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Partner Alliances within an ERP software organization.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Business Development or Sales Strategy for a Partner Alliances team.
Other Qualifications
- Professional experience collaborating with GSIs.
- Demonstrated success in navigating matrixed organizations and complex team-based sales environments, with the ability to influence sales organizations and partner go-to-market strategies.
- Familiarity with the State and Local IT reseller community and/or experience working with partners such as WWT, CDW, ePlus, Presidio, SHI, and Insight is advantageous.
- Understanding of Cloud Technology, Data, Analytics, APIs, and platforms.
- Proven track record in generating strong results in pipeline development and bookings.
- Ability to envision the future for our partners within their area of influence and effectively communicate that vision.
- Capacity to quickly assimilate information across diverse areas and articulate clear communications.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
- MBA is a plus.
Location: US Workday office with the ability to travel within the country acceptable.
Moderate Travel: 25-35%
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Compensation offers will be based on multiple factors including geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business needs.
