Love's College Intern Program

The Loves college internship initiative is often recognized as the premier program in Oklahoma City. Throughout the summer, Loves interns engage in a variety of enriching activities:

  • Exploring diverse business operations
  • Participating in Q&A sessions with senior executives
  • Engaging in Greater Grads: InternOKC
  • Involvement in community service initiatives
  • Attending social and networking events
  • Receiving skills-based training in a classroom setting
  • Participating in a mentorship program
  • Receiving structured performance evaluations
  • Delivering a formal presentation to Loves leadership

Human Resources Internship

Basic Purpose: The main objective of this role is to support all facets of Corporate Human Resources while providing a valuable learning experience for the intern.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist with training, recruitment, employee relations, and other HR-related functions
  • Support onboarding processes
  • Assist with policy development
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Currently enrolled in a four-year university program (pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Training & Development, or a related field).
  • Experience:
    • Previous internship experience is advantageous

Skills & Physical Demands:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Proficient writing abilities and familiarity with Microsoft Office
    • Soft Skills: Excellent time management, multitasking capabilities, proactive attitude, sense of urgency, receptiveness to constructive feedback, strong work ethic, and exceptional organizational and planning skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, occasional bending and stooping
    • May involve lifting items up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal hearing and vision capabilities
