Job Overview

We are currently in search of a Territory Sales Manager - Real Estate & Hospitality to spearhead growth in the southeastern region. This position is pivotal in enhancing broker and agent engagement for our Real Estate & Hospitality insurance offerings. You will collaborate closely with our underwriting and marketing teams to drive success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a strategic business plan aimed at maximizing new business opportunities, focusing on both new client acquisition and strengthening existing relationships.
  • Identify and engage retail agencies and brokers within the designated territory who have potential clients for our specialized products.
  • Conduct monthly face-to-face meetings with retail brokers.
  • Perform weekly prospecting calls to both existing and potential brokers.
  • Review and qualify all submissions received to ensure alignment with our offerings.
  • Collect and document competitive insights regarding market trends and broker preferences.
  • Log all prospecting activities in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Participate in industry networking events to enhance community presence.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Solid understanding of retail agency and brokerage operations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a proven track record in selling Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Possession of a Broker's license in Property and Casualty in the state of domicile.
  • Ability to analyze personal sales metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable coverage, policy language, and risk management principles.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM), Microsoft Suite, and enterprise software.
  • Understanding of insurance pricing, rating concepts, claims operations, and loss control processes.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.


Work Environment

This position offers remote work flexibility, with a preference for candidates located in major cities within the Southeast region.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, plus uncapped quarterly commissions, commensurate with experience and skills.
