Senior Social Services Manager

UMFS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing senior-level social work and case support services to foster or adoptive children, resource/adoptive parents, and referral agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full range of services including intake, assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, referral, report writing, family reunification, discharge planning, and maintaining case files.
- Contribute to the recruitment, certification, recertification, training, and ongoing support of resource parents.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to children and families.
- Provide education and training to resource parents and other stakeholders on topics related to child welfare and family support.
- Master's degree in social work with a minimum of two years direct service experience or a Bachelor's degree in social work and three years direct service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to apply sound casework and counseling skills, understand treatment modalities, and their implications for services to families and youth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
