Job Overview

Global Dimensions, a HUBZone and service-disabled veteran-owned small business, is actively seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager. The Construction Project Manager will oversee the management of significant construction programs or multiple projects. This role requires providing decisive leadership in business, technical, and personnel management across diverse functional activities. The manager will be accountable for ensuring technical quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining daily progress and inspection reports.
  • Leading the quality assurance team to ensure effective project oversight.
  • Acting as a senior advisor to the Program Manager.

The Construction Manager will also be responsible for the daily operations at the construction site, coordinating all engineering personnel to support project tasks. Ensuring the productivity and safety of all personnel on-site is paramount, and the manager will be stationed at the construction site.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution along with 10+ years of relevant experience demonstrating success in managing construction projects.
  • A minimum of two years of management experience on construction projects in sub-Saharan Africa or other post-conflict regions.
  • Experience as the senior-most or second most-senior individual on-site for the project.
  • Management of at least two projects valued at $1.5 million or more.
  • Three years of construction experience with a focus on vertical construction, including at least two years overseas in sub-Saharan Africa or similar areas.
  • Desirable experience includes working OCONUS (Africa) and/or on AFRICAP or ACOTA programs.
  • PMP or Construction Management Certification (CCM) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with government policies and procedures is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a complex environment with competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with a variety of business processes.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
