Job Summary

Willdan Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our DSMore Product Owner role. This position is critical in providing strategic leadership, technical consulting, and program management to support our clients in the energy efficiency sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, expand market share, and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Technical Consulting: Provide expert technical guidance and support to clients, ensuring they achieve optimal results from our DSMore software.
  • Program Management: Oversee the development and implementation of programs, projects, and initiatives to meet client needs and drive business objectives.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance deliverables, improve client satisfaction, and drive business success.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering, Quantitative Analysis, Business, Econometrics, or similarly technical fields or relevant experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience working with utilities on energy efficiency or demand side management offerings, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Detailed knowledge of DSM cost/benefit analysis, modest familiarity with IRP (Integrated Resource Planning), and knowledge of regulators' needs.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of client management and presentation/communication skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with regulators, interveners, and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to once per month, or once per quarter, for business development and client meetings.
