POSITION OVERVIEW: Are you compassionate and committed to advocating for justice? Do you believe in the Christian mission to support the marginalized and vulnerable? If so, World Relief needs your skills. We are seeking an Administrative Support Associate to join our Initial Resettlement team, which provides essential services to newly arrived refugees. This role primarily involves administrative tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Initial Resettlement staff, with potential client appointment assistance as needed.
This is a limited-term position funded through a grant agreement and contingent upon funding extension.Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Primary Administrative Duties
  • Copy, scan, and upload client documents to the secure Microsoft Dynamics database.
  • Organize paper files for uploading or shredding.
  • Review client files and notes for accuracy and grant compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits of electronic client files.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Update internal tracking systems for various tasks.
  • Create and copy case notes in the Microsoft Dynamics database.
  • Deliver documents and paperwork to clients as needed.
  • Request financial assistance, including rental and cash support.
  • Complete online applications on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare documentation for client-related tasks.
  • Process mail from relevant government departments.
  • Contact clients for follow-up regarding necessary actions.
  • Schedule appointments for clients, including state ID and medical appointments.
  • Assist clients in setting up utility accounts.
  • Transport clients to appointments when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Initial Resettlement Manager.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail with effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proactive and collaborative team player.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar databases is advantageous.
  • Experience working with diverse populations is highly valued.

  • Willingness to drive clients to appointments if necessary.
