Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate patient/resident documentation.
  • Scan and attach relevant documents to patient/resident electronic records.
  • Conduct audits of patient/resident electronic records.
  • Manage and order necessary supplies.
  • Handle incoming calls and relay messages appropriately.
  • Respond to resident call lights.
  • Oversee admission, discharge, and transfer documentation.
  • Transcribe physician orders with precision.
  • Alert appropriate nursing staff immediately regarding critical lab results.
  • Maintain reports such as census, dietary sheets, and resident conditions.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of nursing stations and supply areas.
  • Address resident and family concerns.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols while performing all duties.
  • Uphold confidentiality of all resident information and ensure privacy.
  • Treat all residents, families, and visitors with respect, dignity, and kindness.
  • Execute all assigned tasks in accordance with policies, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
  • Foster an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive regard, while maintaining a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.
  • Comply with all facility and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Respond appropriately to personal and door alarms.

Qualifications

  • No history of abuse convictions required.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is essential.
