The Site Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions across all business sectors on-site. This position is accountable for ensuring that staff comply with both company operational guidelines and the standards set by our clients at various locations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, leading the shift command team and subordinate supervisors in executing the daily operational plan as directed by higher management. The Site Operations Coordinator will assess personnel performance and offer hands-on assistance when necessary. This role is also responsible for monitoring operational outcomes and enhancing standard operating procedures as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily staff schedules, approve overtime and leave requests, and set performance objectives to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the Site Manager during their absence, ensuring all operational lines and service standards are upheld.
  • Establish short-term goals and objectives for the site.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate subordinate staff, including conducting performance reviews for supervisors and team members.
  • Set guidelines for subordinate supervisors regarding inspections of facilities, equipment, and personnel.
  • Ensure proper inventory management is maintained.
  • Identify operational and administrative inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improved efficiency to the Site Manager.
  • Address, investigate, and respond to on-site issues and incidents, promptly notifying Human Resources and the Site Manager.
  • Assist in preparing the departmental budget, ensuring timely project implementation within budget constraints, and identifying manpower and resource needs.
  • Compile detailed reports, forms, and documentation with recommendations for the Site Manager.
  • Act as a liaison between administrative functions and operational activities.
  • Ensure coordination of activities with other units and agencies.
  • Promote and exemplify the Deployed Services culture among team members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities to effectively guide team members.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to interact positively and communicate effectively with the public.
  • Exhibits sound judgment and a high level of integrity.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of navigating challenging situations while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Able to follow directives, identify critical situations, and propose solutions.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, demonstrating strong command presence.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, as operations run 24/7/365.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or a combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience in business operations, janitorial services, security, or caregiving is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
  • Must possess and maintain a State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card/License Non-Commissioned.
  • Completion of internal supervisor training and obtaining full background clearance is required.
  • Must provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status if prior military (no dishonorable discharges).
  • Must have resided in the continental U.S. for the last three consecutive years (full-time).
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Willingness to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
