About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is a leading equipment rental company seeking a skilled Dispatch Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery and pickup of equipment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of drivers to ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment from/to customers.
  • Oversee the application of appropriate Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
  • Report, schedule, and support customer service/sales goals of the business unit.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a role applying knowledge of various construction/industrial equipment.
  • Experience in a role applying knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer Service & dispatch training.
  • Working knowledge of the delivery area.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
