About the Role

The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy & Analytics is a key member of our Corporate Strategy team. This role will lead highly visible and prioritized strategic initiatives to support executive decision-making on consequential topics for Trane Technologies. The leader in this role will provide analytical and program management support for strategy projects, including market sizing, competitive analysis, portfolio optimization, M&A strategy, growth and/or operational improvement projects, and functional and transformation projects.

Responsibilities

Support all elements of the company-wide strategic planning process, including the analysis of macro and micro economic factors, strategic benchmarking, current/future portfolio review, and competitive analyses.

Develop/refine and implement strategy and analytic processes and tools. Build analytical models, business cases, and perform market analyses to evaluate opportunities.

Conduct on-going market assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize specific strategic alternatives and initiatives to drive growth and shareholder returns.

Drive externally focused orientation, particularly regarding awareness and insightful analysis of global economic, market, and transaction trends, and identification and exploration of adjacencies to our core businesses to identify new opportunities and specific M&A prospects.

Align with global and local market research and forecasting teams to provide an integrated view of markets, technologies, regulations, and competitive dynamics facing the organization.

Support other global initiatives and projects assigned by Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of work experience in management consulting or related fields is required. Master's degree in business administration is preferred.

Data, Analytics, and documentation (presentations and white paper writing) skills.

Project Management - Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control projects.

Essential Competencies

Strong overall business acumen, good instincts, solid financial grounding, and a clear understanding of how our business operates.
