Job Overview

Opla Energy Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for presenting, promoting, and selling our company's products and services with a technical focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote our products and services.
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to work on opportunities and close deals.
  • Provide technical support to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns regarding our equipment and services.
  • Work with the VP of Business Development to meet and exceed revenue budgets.
  • Monitor and achieve sales revenue volumes against budgeted targets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and other sales information significant to Opla's business.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in MPD Engineering or a related field, covering regions throughout the US and Canada.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key buyers and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and expectations, mitigate and close out issues promptly.
  • Promote company services, products, and technology.
  • Previous experience in sales pipeline management, CRM systems, and forecasting skills are advantageous.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Effective formal presentation skills in one-on-one, small, and large group settings.
  • Willing to travel and occasional travel to remote locations or outside of the country may be required.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work well within a team.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize workloads.
