Job Overview
GateSource HR, in collaboration with our esteemed client, is on the lookout for qualified candidates for the position of Technical Sales Specialist.

Our client is a leading organization focused on Power Transmission Solutions. They provide Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Services, and have been at the forefront of designing and maintaining essential components of power transmission systems for Heavy Industry. Their global reputation is built on their capacity to analyze customer challenges and deliver dependable, cost-efficient solutions alongside personalized service. Their expertise is rooted in extensive field experience, knowledge of equipment performance, application engineering, as well as design, testing, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities.

Position Objective:
This role entails managing relationships with a select group of strategic End User Customers, Industrial Distributors, and Original Equipment Manufacturer accounts. The successful candidate will also work to develop additional customer accounts within the designated territory. Employing a consultative sales approach, the individual will assist end users and purchasers in enhancing their performance by delivering unmatched value and innovation. The role includes formulating strategies and executing action plans aligned with business and marketing objectives to achieve sales and profit targets. By leveraging technical knowledge, exceptional customer service, and robust connections, the aim is to expand core business areas focused on custom bearings, power transmission products, engineering chains, and related items, while enhancing market penetration and profitability through tailored solutions that meet customer expectations.

Key Duties:

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
  • Identify and target potential clients in the bearing and power transmission sector.
  • Conduct market research to comprehend customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring their requirements are met with tailored solutions.
  • Regularly visit customer sites to evaluate their needs, provide technical guidance, and promote company offerings.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the features and benefits of the company's solutions.
  • Participate in industry events to showcase products and services.
Technical Consultation and Solution Development:
  • Offer technical expertise and support to clients, addressing inquiries and technical challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients to enhance performance expectations based on application and engineering requirements.
  • Collect customer specifications and engineering data for analysis and customized solutions.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to facilitate the development of tailored products.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and bids, ensuring they align with client requirements.
Sales Indicators and Business Development:
  • Formulate and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various market segments.
  • Conduct regular sales forecasting and pipeline management to monitor progress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance sales processes and customer experience.
  • Encourage participation in industry events to network and generate leads.
  • Seek and develop new accounts.
Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the bearing and power transmission sectors.
  • Analyze market intelligence to identify emerging customer needs and technological advancements.
  • Provide insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Customer Support and After-Sales Service:
  • Collaborate with customer service to ensure efficient order processing and post-sales support.
  • Address customer inquiries and technical issues promptly.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
Technical and Administrative Competencies:
  • Expertise in Customer Service.
  • Advanced knowledge of Sales principles, Negotiation, and commercial tactics.
  • Understanding of Development Engineering within the manufacturing context.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Project Management.
  • Intermediate technical knowledge in bearings and power transmission systems.
Personal Competencies:
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and results orientation.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and self-discipline skills.
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial sales and technical roles.
  • Experience in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
Compensation:

Salary:
