POSITION OVERVIEW:

The role involves managing designated accounts and geographical territories, focusing on fostering ongoing product sales while demonstrating a thorough understanding of technical specifications and customer needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the sales and field support for all projected products within the assigned territory.
  • Facilitate training sessions for customers and prospects to enhance product knowledge.
  • Maintain a robust technical acumen to serve as an effective trainer and problem solver.
  • Coordinate field training initiatives with factory personnel as necessary.
  • Engage in sales outreach to drive business growth.
  • Deliver exceptional service to existing customers throughout the sales process.
  • Participate in industry conventions and meetings to stay informed about market trends.
  • Optimize engagement with current and prospective customers to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provide valuable insights to management regarding product requirements and market acceptability.
  • Achieve or surpass sales objectives set by management.
  • Contribute to the overall expansion of Toshiba's product offerings.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual sales forecasts as requested.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 25% - 50%

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience or equivalent background.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to walk, bend, sit, and stand as required.
