Job Summary

Cyclonaire Corp. is seeking a seasoned Production Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our industrial equipment assembly team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise production floor activities, including coordinating with production workers, machine operators, and maintenance personnel.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimal production output.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, efficiency goals, and safety protocols.
  • Train new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Identify and address any production-related issues or bottlenecks that may affect output or quality.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager and/or Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement process improvements for enhanced productivity.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production rates, and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines and regulations are followed by all team members and report any safety concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations and timely problem-solving.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for production floor staff, providing feedback and addressing any areas for development.
  • Monitor and manage employee attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience with 2 years of individual contributor experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and metal fabrication is desired.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to communicate effectively with staff on a professional level.
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Microsoft Teams.
  • Understanding of Workflows, SolidWorks, and other CAD software is desired.
Work Environment

Cyclonaire Corp. is a clean and climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Travel may be required < 5% of the time. Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that permits the use of company automobiles.
