Nine Orchard is seeking a Restaurant Floor Supervisor to join our esteemed team. As a pivotal member of our dining establishment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our restaurant, which is renowned for its sophisticated ambiance and exceptional culinary offerings.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to maintain the highest standards of food, beverage, and service quality. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive dining experience for our guests while supporting the overall efficiency of restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise food and beverage services during lunch and dinner to guarantee excellence in service and product quality.
  • Lead and mentor Front of House staff to uphold exemplary service standards.
  • Ensure guests enjoy a memorable dining experience and cultivate relationships with returning patrons.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating professionalism and setting a positive example for the team.

Personnel Management

  • Achieve human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling, and coaching staff.
  • Foster team development through effective communication, constructive feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Create a supportive work environment that aligns with our company culture, enhancing staff retention.
  • Inspire employees through ongoing training in culinary, beverage, and service excellence.
  • Provide guidance and education to all Front of House personnel.

Guest Service

  • Ensure all guests receive courteous and efficient service from every team member.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints promptly and positively.
  • Monitor and evaluate food, beverage, and service offerings to maintain guest satisfaction and implement improvements.
  • Build and nurture relationships with repeat guests.

Service Standards

  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout the restaurant.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of health department standards.

Physical Demands

  • This position requires visual acuity, auditory skills, verbal communication, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The role involves standing for extended periods and moving intermittently during work hours.
