Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of Housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all rooms meet the hotel's high standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Management: Manage and motivate the Housekeeping team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure that all rooms are cleaned and ready for guests.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise, such as guest complaints or equipment malfunctions.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to Housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that the Housekeeping team has what they need to do their jobs.
- Safety and Security: Ensure that all safety and security protocols are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment and the reporting of any incidents.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or casino environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to guests and other staff members. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with guests and staff, and provide exceptional customer service in a high-pressure environment.
