Job Summary

The Production Floor Supervisor is a key role within Cyclonaire Corp., responsible for overseeing the manufacturing production area that fabricates and assembles Cyclonaire products and equipment. This position requires a strong leader who can develop, train, and execute the team's daily and weekly work schedules, ensuring production targets are met while adhering to quality standards, efficiency goals, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise production floor activities, including coordinating with production workers, machine operators, and maintenance personnel.
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimal production output.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, efficiency goals, and safety protocols.
  • Train new employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Identify and address any production-related issues or bottlenecks that may affect output or quality.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager and/or Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement process improvements for enhanced productivity.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including inventory levels, production rates, and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines and regulations are followed by all team members and report any safety concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations and timely problem-solving.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for production floor staff, providing feedback and addressing any areas for development.
  • Monitor and manage employee attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience with 2 years of individual contributor experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and metal fabrication is desired.
Work Environment

The Production Floor Supervisor will work in a clean and climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Travel may be required less than 5% of the time. A valid driver's license and a driving record that permits the use of company automobiles are required.
