Position Overview

PD&E Investments

RGA's Private Debt and Equity division actively engages in investments within middle market and lower middle market buyout funds as a Limited Partner. Additionally, we provide adaptable capital to facilitate leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, add-on acquisitions, and growth financing. Our offerings include senior/unitranche, second lien, subordinated debt, and non-control equity.

The PD&E Operations team is integral to the investment lifecycle. The Senior Analyst will execute essential daily functions related to the team's portfolio investments, supporting all primary asset strategies, including direct debt and private equity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage capital call and distribution requests for fund investments.
  • Handle banking operations and wire transfers.
  • Conduct daily cash monitoring and reconciliations.
  • Administer and maintain legal entities, portfolios, and bank accounts within investment systems.
  • Process Schedule BA financial statements and tax documentation.
  • Ensure proper management of physical and electronic documentation and reconciliation.
  • Assist with debt confirmations and audit inquiries.
  • Serve as a backup for onboarding investments as necessary.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required:

•Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or 3-5 years of equivalent professional experience.

•3-5 years of relevant industry experience with securities operations processes.

Preferred:

•3-5 years of audit or accounting experience with a CPA firm.

•3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or mezzanine funds.

•3-5 years of corporate credit experience with an insurance company or other asset management firm.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required:

•Fundamental understanding of investment and market concepts, including relative value, asset liability management, and investment valuation.

•Basic knowledge of the leveraged finance market, including private equity and the middle market lending landscape.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

•Intermediate written and verbal communication capabilities.

•Intermediate investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to establish goals and manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

•Capacity to effectively balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

•Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to departmental projects.

•Ability to communicate with individuals across various operational, functional, and technical disciplines.

•Basic customer relationship management skills.

•General business acumen.

The general pay range for this position is $75k-$105k base per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles, and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a comprehensive range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
