Universal Products & Experiences Overview:
This division is responsible for enhancing NBCUniversal's iconic brands and intellectual properties through innovative product offerings and engaging experiences. Our focus includes consumer products, digital platforms, and theme park retail, ensuring that our beloved franchises are represented across various markets.

Role Summary:
The Marketing Manager will operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leading the strategic direction for product branding and marketing initiatives across a diverse portfolio of games. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing & Community, this role is crucial in shaping the marketing landscape for Universal's top franchises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive branding and marketing strategies for a variety of game titles.
  • Oversee daily marketing operations, including ideation, planning, and execution for select projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to refine marketing plans and secure necessary approvals.
  • Manage timelines and ensure accountability among cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Define marketing requirements in collaboration with product and communications teams during game development.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with various departments to enhance promotional impact.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with digital gaming platforms to drive marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to communicate marketing strategies and outcomes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and apply innovative marketing tactics to achieve campaign success.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing within the video game or entertainment sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in all major aspects of marketing, including brand management, digital marketing, and public relations.
  • Strong understanding of the gaming industry and its dynamics.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Established relationships with game publishers are advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

  • This position is designated as hybrid, requiring in-office contributions at least three days per week.
  • Proficiency in Keynote and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
